Triskelion Arts is mad about the power of funny, especially when it comes to dance. We are seeking movement-based work under 15 minutes that tickles a varied adult audience’s collective funny bone, for the fifth annual Comedy in Dance Festival. The festival will run Thursday, April 3rd through Sunday, April 6th, 2014. Each evening’s program will consist of several works by various companies, comics and choreographers, and each selected piece will be presented one to three times throughout the festival, at the discretion of Triskelion Arts staff. All artists with comic works between 3 and 15 minutes are encouraged to apply. All applications will be reviewed, and pieces will be chosen on the basis of quality of work and appropriateness for the event. All festival participants will be alloted a tech time on the day of the performance or at some time in the couple days prior. To submit a piece for Comedy in Dance, please click the link below and complete the form no later than January 15, 2014.
