We are committed to a transparent and inclusive selection process. Each year, artists can apply through an open application, which we promote broadly through our website, social media, email newsletters, word-of-mouth networks, and community partners to ensure wide and equitable access.
Applications are evaluated based on the strength and clarity of the proposed project, its readiness for an immersive development and production process, the extent to which the work is already actively in development, the feasibility of the project within the residency framework, and the potential for the residency to meaningfully advance the project toward its premiere.
Applications are reviewed by Triskelion Arts and a rotating peer panel, which makes the final selection. This structure ensures that decision-making is comprehensive, equitable, and grounded in multiple perspectives. By prioritizing access and inclusivity, we strengthen a pathway where artists can thrive and audiences can experience bold new work.
