TRISK PRESENTS: JULIA ANTINOZZI | APRIL 11-13, 2024

For Immediate Release
MARCH 20, 2024
BROOKLYN, NY -- Triskelion Arts is honored to present Julia Antinozzi’s The Suite, premiering at Trisk on April 11-13, at 8PM each night, and a matinee at 2PM on April 13. The Suite revises typical structures and characters of romantic, plot-de-emphasized ballets. Elastically composed, the work practices a casual technique integrating form, pantomime gesture, and mellow bravura. The Suite is choreographed by Julia Antinozzi, and performed by Sienna Blaw, Dasol Kim, Paulina Meneses and Kelsey Saulnier. The production is set to music composed by Ryan Wolfe, with costumes design by Sonya Gadet-Molansky. Lighting Design is by Anna Wotring and Connor Sale.

Julia is the inaugural recipient of the prestigious Trisk Fellowship. This opportunity granted Julia a year to fully explore their creative vision, offering subsidized studio access and substantial financial support. Julia has received extensive technical and theatrical design support and has opportunities for showings and open rehearsals, fostering community engagement and behind-the-scenes access. The three evening performance run is the conclusion of Julia’s fellowship. The Trisk Fellowship reflects our commitment to nurturing artistic growth by providing time, resources, and support for artists to realize their visions in their most impactful form.
