TRISK PRESENTS KAYLA FARRISH | NOVEMBER 18, 2026

For Immediate Release
OCTOBER 12, 2026
BROOKLYN, NY - Triskelion Arts is thrilled to present Resident Artist Christian A. Warner’s premiere of WE GATHER HERE, running November 12-14 at 8PM each night at Trisk.

A Beast that Came Apart Mid-Air is an Afrosurrealist dance-theater performance taking shape as a visual mixtape through movement, voice, narrative, film, folktale, and spiritual during a reckoning. Migrating portals in-and-out of time, 6 BIPOC characters traverse interconnected maps of resistance and uncover those who subverted power to exist. They transform historic resilience into learning how to wield power to reimagine the future. Dismantling the beast of disempowerment, what liberation and imagination lives? In an immersive dance-theater play, the audience moves through their inner worlds, forgotten pasts, and brave pathways of darkness and revolution for lives where we can be whole.

This work has been supported by NY Support for Artist 2026, Danse Mirage Foundation Inc. Choreography Commission 2026, Mercury Store Residency, Ellis Beauregard Foundation Residency, NYFA/NYSCA Choreography Fellowship, CUNY Dance Initiative- Brooklyn College (2025-2026) and Hunter College (2026-2027), Triskelion Arts, BAX AIR Residency 2026-2028, and The Pocantico Center Residency.
