Through dance and movement, we not only entertain but also educate, provoke thought, and spark conversations that lead to positive change. We build not just a stage but a platform for the voices that need to be heard, a canvas for the stories that need to be told, and a sanctuary for dreams we all share in a world where unity, diversity, and empathy prevail.
Since 2000…
We have been an integral part of Brooklyn's cultural landscape by presenting dance and movement artists in our theater and nurturing their creative processes in our rehearsal studios. To date, over 800 original productions have graced our stages!

Our Programming…
We support the work of over 300 artists each year, with nearly every production reaching sold-out status, attracting thousands of audience members. Our annual lineup features up to sixteen productions, including guest curations, split-bill performances, evening-length premieres, artist-in-residence programs, classes, and community events. Our Studios…
We offer affordable and subsidized space in our four rehearsal studios, ranging from $9 to $19/hour. We aim to cultivate a vibrant environment that encourages artists to create and connect.
