TRISK PRESENTS

At the core of our organization lies the Trisk Presents performance series, which is dedicated to championing artistic expression by providing artists with resources to create evening-length premieres.

RESIDENT ARTIST PROGRAM

Our Resident Artist Programming is a pivotal platform for fueling the creative exploration and expression of our community of artists. Our residency initiatives are designed to provide a comprehensive range of support and a diverse set of services. These resources are thoughtfully tailored to meet the unique needs of various creative processes and the individual requirements of each artist we proudly accommodate.

Each year, we facilitate four distinct residencies, which serve as a testament to our unwavering commitment to nurturing artistic expression and fostering a space where creativity can flourish freely.

SPLIT BILL SERIES

Our SPLIT BILL Series brings together pairings of early-career NYC-based movement and dance artists to premier work in our theater. The program supports new works that are 20 to 25 minutes in length. Artists are programmed through an open application process and selected by Artist Advisory Board.

SPACE SUBSIDY

With the generous support from The New York State Council on the Arts, we are able to offer selected professional movement and dance artists subsidized rehearsal rates in our largest spaces: Muriel Schulman Theater and Douglas Elliman Studio. Through this program, the hourly rate for these studios is $10/hour through December 31, 2023.

MORNING CLASS

Classes are dedicated to cultivating a vibrant learning community for movement artists, facilitating research-focused classes that promote the exchange of knowledge, diverse perspectives, and creative processes. Our flexible platform empowers teaching artists, and our sliding scale rates ensure accessibility for all participants.
