Founded in 2014, NVA & Guests is a project based Swiss/American dance-theatre company. It exists as a platform to produce and share the artistic work of choreographer Nicole von Arx. Its mission is to forge genuine connections between its audience and collaborators by producing interdisciplinary evocative stage and film works.

Grounded in her experience dancing in both the contemporary, immersive and Off-Broadway dance and theatre scenes, von Arx’s work seeks to begin conversations. It flips our perspective on its head with playful narration, ambiguous characters who seem to appear and disappear with dynamic physicality to hint at what is seen and not seen.

NVA & Guests has presented works around the United States at venues and festivals such as TACAW (Colorado), Judson Memorial Church (New York), Sam Houston State University (Texas), Chop Shop Festival (Seattle), CPR (Brooklyn). The company has also performed internationally at the Bâtiment des Forces Motrices (Switzerland), Theatre am Gleis (Switzerland), and Reykjavík Culture Night (Iceland).
